The Tennessee Titans continue to look for ways to upgrade their roster. The team made a flurry of moves earlier this week that included the signing of veteran quarterback Trevor Siemian, and the release of 7th round pick Cole McDonald. It appears that Jon Robinson may be not be done tinkering with his roster.
Sources have confirmed to Broadway Sports Media’s Justin Melo that former University of Tennessee safety Rashaan Gaulden will be coming in for a workout later this week.
The 6′-1″, 200-pounder has three seasons of experience after being selected in the 3rd round of the 2018 NFL Draft by the Panthers. He appeared in 15 games as a rookie while totaling 16 tackles. Gaulden spent last season appearing in 10 games with the Giants.
Gaulden was a fan-favorite at The University of Tennessee where he quickly became one of the better defensive backs in college football. His physical style of play was noted throughout the predraft process, and played a big role in why the Panthers elected to use a top-100 pick on him.
Gaulden actually visited the Titans prior to the 2018 draft, so this isn’t the first time the team has shown interest in him.
We will continue to provide you with roster updates as we receive them.
