Nashville SC forward CJ Sapong was named to the MLS Team of the Week for his performance in a 2-2 draw with Atlanta United on Saturday night.
Sapong scored the opening goal of the match, finishing off a low cross from Hany Mukhtar. Later in the match, he notched an assist for Mukhtar, heading the ball back across the goal for the DP to head home. The goals were the 12th and 13th times the pair have combined for goals in their time together in Nashville. Sapong is now up to five goals and three assists in all competitions this season.
