Nashville SC center back Lukas MacNaughton was named to the MLS Team of the Matchday after Nashville’s 2-1 win over Inter Miami CF. The defender scored his first career MLS goal, a second half header that proved to be the winner.
Since arriving in Nashville in a trade with Toronto FC, MacNaughton has started four consecutive matches in place of the injured Walker Zimmerman. Nashville have conceded just twice with MacNaughton on the field, winning three and drawing once.
