Brian Anunga and Elliot Panicco named to MLS Team of Matchday 29

Nashville SC goalkeeper Elliot Panicco and midfielder Brian Anunga were named to the Team of Matchday 29 bench for their performance in a 0-0 draw against Inter Miami CF.

Panicco made four saves to deny Miami, the first clean sheet kept against the Herons since Lionel Messi debuted after joining from Paris St. Germain in the summer transfer window. Anunga made six recoveries and shielded Nashville’s backline against Miami’s attack.

Panicco is the first Nashville SC goalkeeper to earn Team of the Matchday honors this season. It’s the first Team of the Matchday nod for either player.
