Video Interview: Kevin Byard sets sights on a Titans Super Bowl in 2021

The Tennessee Titans are looking forward to starting fresh on the defensive side of the ball this season. It all starts on Sunday when they take on Kliff Kingsbury and his Arizona Cardinals in what’s sure to be an entertaining Week 1 contest.

The Titans defense has gone through a lot of personnel changes over the past few months. The new-look unit will get a stiff test right out of the gate when the likes of Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins travel to Nissan Stadium for the first official game of the 2021 campaign on Sunday, September 12th.

The majority of the defensive overturn occured on the backend of the defense with the subtractions of Adoree Jackson, Malcolm Butler and Kenny Vaccaro. Replacing them are the likes of Jackrabbit Jenkins, Caleb Farley and Elijah Molden. But the Titans aren’t just counting on new faces to improve the secondary. Make no mistake, Kevin Byard is still the leader of the defense.

Byard, who’s been busy promoting his new partnership with Pepsi and their “Made for Football Watching” campaign recently joined Broadway Sports’ Justin Melo for an exclusive video interview. Byard and Melo discussed his usage in 2020, his chemistry with Amani Hooker in the secondary, what goes into creating turnovers, why the defense will take a big step forward this season, and so much more. Enjoy.

Byard took time out of his busy schedule to speak with Broadway Sports while promoting his new partnership with Pepsi.
