Nashville SC’s Walker Zimmerman named to MLS Team of the Week

Nashville SC defender Walker Zimmerman has been named to the MLS Team of the Week for his performance in a 1-1 draw with Orlando City. The center back wore the captain’s armband for Nashville in his first start since June 3.

Againsts Orlando, Zimmerman was nothing short of dominant in the air. He won all nine of his duels and recovered the ball another nine times, and was a key part of Nashville’s success on the ball.

This is Zimmerman’s second selection to the Team of the Week, and Nashville’s 18th of the season.
