Nashville SC’s Walker Zimmerman named to MLS Team of the Week

Nashville SC’s Walker Zimmerman was named to the MLS Team of the Week for his performance in a 0-0 draw on the road against New York City FC.

Zimmerman came close to scoring twice from set pieces and was exceptional defensively. The reigning MLS Defender of the Year won 12 duels, made seven clearances and helped keep NYCFC’s attack at bay, contributing to Nashville’s league-leading 12th clean sheet of the season.
